Enchilada Casserole


1-2 lbs. Ground Beef
1 Onion, chopped
1 Clove Garlic, minced
or 1/4 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Can Cream Of Mushroom Soup
1 Can Cream Of Chicken Soup
1 Can Milk or Water
1 Can Taco Sauce (I use El Pato)
1 Can Tomato Sauce (8 oz.)
1 Can Green Chile (4 oz.)
1 or 2 Jalapenos (finely chopped)
2 Cups Grated Cheese
Salt and Pepper
Corn Tortillas

Saute ground beef, onion and garlic until meat is lightly browned
and onion is clear.
Drain
Add soups, sauce, chile and liquid.
Season to taste.
Layer in a casserole dish (9" x 13" Pyrex) the tortillas, meat
mixture and cheese.
Continue until you run out, ending with cheese on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes.
Serves 6-8
